About The Position

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of General Pediatrics at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an Academic Pediatrician at an open rank. The Division of General Pediatrics manages all areas of childcare from birth to young adulthood. Duties include patient care, teaching and supervising a variety of learners with opportunities to be involved in clinical and basic research. Experience in an outpatient/ hospital setting is preferred. A Florida medical license will be required prior to assuming the position.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct medical care to patients in the hospital at Tampa General Hospital.
• Covering outpatient clinics and the well-baby nursery (no delivery room attendance).
• Teaching and supervising a variety of learners.
• Involvement in clinical and basic research.
