The Medical University of South Carolina, Department of Clinical Sciences invites applications for a full-time, 12-month, non-tenured open-rank faculty to serve in the Divisions of Anesthesia for Nurses and Pathologists’ Assistant Studies. Both divisions are housed within the Department of Clinical Sciences in the College of Health Professions. These divisions are dedicated to preparing competent and compassionate Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) and Pathologists’Assistants, ready to meet the needs of our communities through high-quality didactic education, clinical instruction, interprofessional collaboration, and outcomes-based research. Our faculty and staff strive to improve population health by developing and inspiring healthcare leaders. This faculty position includes opportunities for teaching, curriculum development, student advising, and scholarly contributions. Faculty members are expected to foster strong relationships with students, ensuring high-quality training experiences for students, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the Department of Clinical Sciences’ programs. This position is tenured track eligible, and academic rank and salary will be commensurate with credentials and experience. The College of Health Professions is one of six colleges of South Carolina’s only academic health center and is among the largest colleges by student numbers at MUSC.
