About The Position
The David Geffen School of Medicine (DGSOM) at UCLA announces an open rank, tenure-track/tenured faculty position in the basic sciences (Biological Chemistry; Computational Medicine; Human Genetics; Microbiology, Immunology, & Molecular Genetics; Molecular and Medical Pharmacology; Neurobiology; Physiology). Candidates must have an M.D. (or equivalent) and/or a Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a field relevant to one of the above departments. The successful candidate must demonstrate a history of commitment to the mentorship of students from underrepresented and underserved populations, as well as an outstanding record of research accomplishments. The successful candidate will be expected to continue their active research program and their participation in mentoring activities. Service and teaching expectations will be commensurate with other tenure track faculty positions in the DGSOM. An appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor will be offered as appropriate to the applicant's academic standing.
