About The Position
The School of Education in the Ruth S. Ammon College of Education and Health Sciences is currently seeking a tenured/tenure track faculty member, open rank at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Higher Education Global Leadership starting fall 2025. This faculty member will be primarily dedicated to launching, leading, teaching, and researching in the Higher Education Global Leadership doctoral program. The Higher Education Global Leadership doctoral program offers an opportunity for Adelphi University to expand its footprint worldwide through a vibrant educational experience for emerging and existing higher education leaders. The overarching purpose of this program is to develop higher education leaders with an equity, social justice, and global perspective. Although much of the program is online, the doctoral experience includes partial, in-person classes in New York City during the summers. The program operates on a cohort-model with opportunities to engage in academic conferences, research labs, and international practicum experiences.
