About The Position

We are currently seeking to fill our Open Rank Faculty, Physical Therapy position at the Georgia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual. The Department of Physical Therapy invites applications for a 12-month, full-time appointment in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Rank and salary will be commensurate with education and teaching experience.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited education program and/or other PT degree with terminal doctorate degree (eg. PhD, EdD, DHsc etc.,)
  • Minimum of 5 years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience.
  • Experience in teaching in a Doctor of Physical Therapy education program.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated history of successful time management and organization.
  • Demonstrated history of nurturing learning in a diversity-rich environment.
  • Knowledge in the management of information, particularly computer technology.
  • Must be licensed or eligible for license in the State of Georgia

Nice To Haves

  • ABPTS certification
  • Preferred candidates will be able to teach foundational science, applied science, and physical therapy management courses.
  • Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
