About The Position

We are currently seeking to fill our Open Rank Faculty, Physical Therapy position at the Georgia campus with a highly qualified and passionate individual. The Department of Physical Therapy invites applications for a 12-month, full-time appointment in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program. Rank and salary will be commensurate with education and teaching experience.

Requirements

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from a CAPTE-accredited education program and/or other PT degree with terminal doctorate degree (eg. PhD, EdD, DHsc etc.,)
Minimum of 5 years of full-time post-licensure clinical experience.
Experience in teaching in a Doctor of Physical Therapy education program.
Effective communication and collaboration skills in a team-oriented environment.
Demonstrated history of successful time management and organization.
Demonstrated history of nurturing learning in a diversity-rich environment.
Knowledge in the management of information, particularly computer technology.
Must be licensed or eligible for license in the State of Georgia

Nice To Haves

ABPTS certification
Preferred candidates will be able to teach foundational science, applied science, and physical therapy management courses.
Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with colleagues.
