This 1s a full-time faculty position at an open rank within the Department ot Pediatrics. The appointed individual will serve as the attending physician responsible for the care of critically ill and step-down pediatric cardiac patients, including those with heart failure or on mechanical circulatory support. Service time will align with the division's needs, typically benchmarked at 14· 16 weeks per year and 52 on-call shifts. This role includes a commitment to teaching pediatric critical care and pediatric cardiology fellows, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and other unit-based personnel. The candidate is strongly encouraged to pursue research interests in basic science or clinical fields. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to participate in various training and educational activities, leading quality improvement and care process initiatives. They will also contribute to developing clinical practice plans and protocols and engage in simulation-based team performance and skills enhancement activities
