The Department of Information Systems and Cybersecurity in the College of AI, Cyber and Computing at the University of Texas at San Antonio seeks applicants for an open rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) position beginning Fall 2025. Department of Information Systems and Cybersecurity The Department of Information Systems and Cybersecurity (ISC[FM1] ) has 16 tenured/tenure-track faculty members (including 2 adjoint faculty), 23 fixed term track faculty members, and over 35 part-time adjunct instructors. We offer several majors, minors, concentrations and certificates in information systems, cybersecurity, cyber analytics, data analytics, across all levels - undergraduate, masters, and Ph.D., with over 2,400 students enrolled in these programs. Untenured, tenure-track faculty teach three courses per year. We offer undergraduate degrees in Information Systems, Cybersecurity, and Applied Cyber Analytics; minors in digital forensics, cybersecurity, information systems, network and data center management, and technology management; graduate degrees in Information Technology with an optional concentration in Cybersecurity, Management of Technology, and Data Analytics (in partnership with the Management Science & Statistics department); and a PhD degree in Information Technology with concentrations in traditional information systems, cybersecurity, and analytics/artificial intelligence. Faculty have access to state-of-the-art research laboratory resources and high-performance computing resources. With 5,300+ students, the College of AI, Cyber and Computing is the newest college at UT San Antonio and just launched on September 1st, 2025.
