About The Position

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Florida A&M University-Florida State University College of Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position. Successful candidates are expected to develop research programs that are internationally recognized with significant and sustained funding, incorporate interdisciplinary collaboration with researchers across campus, and demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in engineering education. Teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and supervising undergraduate, graduate and post-doctoral researchers are expected. Tenure-track Faculty Position in Artificial Intelligence Aided Cyber-Physical Systems Security, Power Systems, Power Electronics, and Electrical Machines and Drives, and closely related areas of research in the city of Tallahassee, Florida. We are seeking faculty candidates for an assistant professor position, however, exceptional candidates at higher ranks will be considered. Requirements

  • Candidates must possess an earned Ph.D. in electrical engineering, or computer engineering, or a closely related discipline
  • Demonstrate the documented potential for outstanding research in their field of expertise
