The Open Application is designed for candidates who believe they could contribute to Render across engineering, product, design, go-to-market, operations, or other functions as we continue to grow. This role is not tied to a single team, level, or function. Instead, it serves as a way to start a conversation as our hiring needs evolve.

Requirements

• Experience in a relevant discipline (engineering, product, design, go-to-market, operations, or related fields), with a desire to own meaningful problems and see work through to real outcomes
• A high bar for quality in how you build, communicate, and collaborate, with care for both the details and the broader impact of your work
• The ability to reason clearly through complex or ambiguous problems, make thoughtful decisions, and execute with urgency when it matters
• A collaborative mindset and interest in building together, partnering across teams, and contributing to an environment of trust, respect, and constructive debate
• Alignment with Render’s Operating Principles and the way we operate day to day, including ownership of outcomes, raising the quality bar, moving quickly with intention, and taking a long-term view

Nice To Haves

• Background in cloud infrastructure, developer tools, or SaaS platforms
• Experience working at a high-growth startup or scaling organization
• Familiarity with distributed systems, modern web applications, or AI-enabled products
• A strong interest in building tools that empower other builders

Responsibilities

• Help build, scale, or support Render’s cloud platform, products, or internal systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to solve meaningful technical and operational problems
• Contribute to improving the experience of developers and teams building on Render
• Bring a thoughtful, user-focused approach to problem-solving and execution
