About The Position

Project Resources Group (PRG) is currently searching for an OPD Field Supervisor for the West region. This role will supervise a team of Damage Specialists to carry out essential damage assessments to facilitate the recovery of damages for our clients.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform the role of a Damage Specialist, including the ability to define the scope of an assessment, collect data and evidence, review and analyze information, determine liability and document properly the results of the assessment.
  • Ability to clearly communicate, resolve conflicts, and lead a team.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail, and strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and other job-related computer/applications.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to foster and enable strong professional working relationships.
  • Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise a team of Damage Specialists.
  • Collaborate with regional management in the planning and coordination of field activities, ensuring that tasks are aligned with a territory’s goals.
  • Allocate and supervise resources, including equipment, materials and personnel, to optimize productivity and meet the territory’s requirements.
  • Ensure that work in the field meets damage assessment quality and safety standards and requirements and is aligned with industry best practices.
  • Train new team members on processes, safety protocols, and job requirements. Provide ongoing training and support to enhance the skills and performance of the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of field activities, progress, and issues encountered. Generate reports and communicate updates to higher management as needed.
  • Address issues, conflicts and challenges that arise in the field promptly and effectively.
  • Implement solutions to minimize disruptions and maintain appropriate damage assessment processes.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication between Damage Specialists, clients, recovery, and other stakeholders. Relay information, instructions, and updates accurately.
  • Meet with Damage Specialists regularly, which will include travel as necessary.
  • Assess the performance of field staff and provide constructive feedback as necessary.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
