The PreSales Partner Consultant for Opcenter X will be a pivotal technical resource within the Americas Partner Organization, dedicated to empowering our partners to successfully position, demonstrate, and implement Siemens Opcenter X solutions. This role is critical for driving partner-led growth and ensuring our partners are fully enabled to deliver value to customers throughout the PreSales cycle and beyond. The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical advisor, bridging the gap between Siemens' product expertise and our partners' sales and technical capabilities. The candidate for this position will report directly to the Director of Partner Technical Enablement.

  • Provide expert technical mentorship and support to channel partners during presales activities for Opcenter X, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, solution architecture, and proof-of-concept engagements.
  • Collaborate with partners to understand customer requirements and design efficient Opcenter X solutions that address their business challenges.
  • Assist partners in responding to technical aspects of RFPs/RFIs related to Opcenter X.
  • Act as a primary technical point of contact for assigned strategic partners for Opcenter X inquiries.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive technical enablement programs, workshops, and training sessions for partner sales and technical teams on Opcenter X features, functionalities, standard processes, and driven positioning.
  • Create and maintain technical enablement content, including solution guides, technical FAQs, demonstration scripts, and driven battle cards specific to Opcenter X.
  • Ensure partners are up-to-date with the latest Opcenter X product releases, updates, and strategic roadmap.
  • Mentor partner technical resources to enhance their Opcenter X expertise and self-sufficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong technical relationships with key collaborators within partner organizations, encouraging trust and partnership.
  • Work closely with partner services teams to provide leadership, minimize technical risks, and safeguard project success during the presales-to-delivery handoff for Opcenter X.
  • Provide regular status updates and technical reviews to internal Siemens collaborators and partners.
  • Coordinate with internal Siemens teams (Product Management, R&D, Cloud Application Services, Customer Success) to resolve sophisticated technical challenges and provide feedback on Opcenter X product enhancements based on partner and customer interactions.
  • Ensure consistent messaging and alignment between presales activities and implementation delivery for Opcenter X solutions.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs related to Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) and Opcenter X.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and compelling value propositions for various audience levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
  • Demonstrated ability in a technical customer-facing role (e.g., Presales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant) within the enterprise software industry.
  • Shown expertise with Siemens Opcenter X or other Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) / Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) software solutions.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, quality management, and plant operations.
  • Proven record to develop and deliver technical enablement and training to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent presentation, communication (written and verbal), and social skills.
  • Proven record of leading sophisticated technical relationships and translating technical concepts.
  • 25 - 50% travel may be required for customer visits or technical workshops.
  • Experience with other Siemens Digital Industries Software Solutions (e.g., Teamcenter, NX, Simcenter, Insights Hub or any other Opcenter product).
  • Familiarity with cloud deployment models and SaaS solutions.
  • Experience working within a channel-driven sales model.
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish/Portuguese) is a plus for the Americas region.

  • Competitive salary range of 124,200 - 248,400 annually with a target incentive of 7.5% of the base salary.
