HOURS: Part Time, 16-20 hours/ week, with the opportunity to pick up more shifts as needed. Flexibility required - possible available shifts listed below. • 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM • 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM • Every 5th weekend (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM) • 7:00 AM-3:30 PM on occasional Mondays • 5:45 AM-2:15 PM (occasional coverage hours when FT staff work their weekend (Friday/Mondays) • 8:00 AM -4:30 PM (occasional coverage hours when FT staff work their weekend (Friday/Mondays) The Patient Access Representative is responsible for the entire scope of the registration process for patients seen at St. Luke's University Health Network, in outpatient and/or Emergency Department locations. This includes, but is not limited to, correctly identifying patients, transcribing orders, completing registration screens, entering diagnosis and provider information, verifying insurances, point of service cash collections, work queues, etc. Communicates and coordinates with SLPG practices, clinical/diagnostic departments, and various revenue cycle departments to ensure excellent patient experience, clean claim submission, and payment for services. May require occasional travel between campuses or regional locations.
