About The Position

Three Rivers Orthopedics, located at 200 Delafield Rd., Suite 1040, Pittsburgh, PA 15215, is seeking a dedicated and organized Outpatient Nurse Coordinator to join our team. This full-time position works Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the possibility of one day per week traveling to our Natrona Heights office. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced outpatient orthopedic environment while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years nursing experience
Current licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in practicing state.
CPR CertificationUPMC approved national certification preferred.
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Registered Nurse (RN)
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
Current licensure either in the state where the facility is located or, if the facility is in a state covered by the multistate Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) agreement, a multistate license issued by a participating NLC state. Hires and current employees working on an out-of-state NLC license who later change their residency to the state where the facility is also located will have 60 days upon changing their residency to apply for licensure within that state.

Triages patient situations and coordinates care with physician.
Assist physician with all aspects of patient care including assessment, evaluation and education.
Provides care for patients in a global, holistic method-responsibility for the patient is viewed in a continual manner, not simply at the time of office/procedural visit.
Accountable for outpatient treatment follow up necessary for patient to maintain health in between outpatient visits.
Serves as primary nursing resource to patient caseload.
Facilitates necessary services outside of the healthcare facility, interacts with homecare and other support services.
