Coordinate admissions through an in-person screening and assessment of patient’s needs to include a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment. Complete level of care assessment and determination based on clinical assessment and completes pre-certification of care with 3rd party insurance companies for the level of care recommended. Provide referrals to alternate providers or levels of care on an as needed basis within the immediate community. Complete documentation of activities consistent with best practices. Position: OP Intake Counselor Hours: Full-Time, 40-hours a week, Monday through Friday; No weekends or Holidays! Location: Mirmont Outpatient Center- Broomall

Requirements

  • 2 years' experience at a Graduate-level supervised internship or practicum in a mental health setting and at least 2 years of post-graduate highly preferred.
  • Pennsylvania Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor Required
  • 2 years' experience at a Graduate-level supervised internship or practicum in a mental health setting and at least 2 years of post-graduate highly preferred.
