Summary: Under the direction of the Director of Early Intervention Services (or designee), coordinates all immediate administrative duties to the OnTrack team and serves as the primary clinician to program participants.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master’s degree in social work, psychology, sociology, counseling or a related field.
  • Maintaining a dependable vehicle and certified driver status is a condition of employment.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a mental health or social service agency is desirable but not required.
  • Other combinations of education and experience, if evaluated as equivalent, may qualify an applicant for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees all aspects of team function and provides administrative oversight (training of new staff members and continued staff development, monthly reporting in house and to the state of Tennessee (TDMHSA), and the promotion of the program with outside agencies).
  • Serves as primary clinician for participants and their families, ensuring treatment modalities used by Master's level clinicians providing therapy services include Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), CBT for psychosis (CBTp), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Prepares and maintains all medical/clinical records in accordance with Center quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Participates, at a minimum, in one hour of clinical supervision every other week, or as otherwise directed by the Center.
  • Ensures the team averages a minimum of 15 active clients throughout the year.
  • Conducts weekly team and individual supervisions.
  • Participates in the development of individual program plans and provides ongoing information regarding client progress to the service providers.
  • Participates in the development of a crisis/safety plan for clients as needed.
  • Is available as a member of the OnTrack Team to clients 24 hours per day, seven days per week by means of an on-call cell phone that will be rotated.
  • Works collaboratively with the OnTrack team, promoting strength based services, team cohesiveness, coverage for other team members when needed/appropriate, etc.
  • Is expected to have regular and predictable attendance.
