About The Position

Arcetyp LLC is looking for an Onsite US Federal Government Experienced Legal/Paralegal/General Clerk in Raleigh NC to support a US Federal Government the client. All work under this contract shall be performed at the Government site. This work is full time onsite at the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO), Eastern District of North Carolina at 150 Fayetteville Street, Suite 2100, Raleigh, NC 27601. Candidates with previous work as a Legal Clerk and in Paralegal Support would be best suited for this position. The role is to provide legal support / witness management support for the USAO Fact Witness Program. The contractor will handle witness travel and lodging, process travel vouchers and reimbursements, coordinate witness appearances for court, pre-trial conferences, and grand jury, interact directly with witnesses, coordinate with AUSAs and other agencies, maintain files and databases, and perform related clerical and administrative support. This work is full time onsite at the U.S. Attorney’s Office (USAO), Eastern District of North Carolina at 150 Fayetteville Street, Suite 2100, Raleigh, NC 27601. Must have an understanding of: Legal terminology; Court processes (hearings, grand jury, trials); and Government administrative procedures.

Requirements

  • Ability to support Time-sensitive court schedules
  • Occasional after-hours requirements (e.g., witness coordination, outreach events)
  • Communicate professionally with witnesses, attorneys, and agencies
  • Handle sensitive or potentially stressful interactions (e.g., witness coordination)
  • Track and manage records accurately
  • Process financial/travel documentation
  • Processing travel vouchers and reimbursements
  • Coordinating logistics (travel, lodging, scheduling)
  • Working with legal staff (AUSAs, courts, law enforcement)
  • Managing case-related or witness-related documentation
  • Customer service / direct interaction with external individuals (witnesses)
  • U.S Citizenship and must be meet suitability screening for working in a federal law enforcement/legal environment (DOJ/USAO), must pass a background check.
