About The Position

As a USFGMD Onsite System Technologist, you will be exposed to a wide variety of communications requirements in both the Presale and Post Sale phases of a project. These applications span the entire breadth of the US Federal Government throughout the world. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely manner, provide customer training on Motorola Land Mobile Radio Products, and communicate concepts and recommendations to customers and within the Motorola Solutions organization. You will need a detailed understanding of Motorola systems to assist in the design, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Motorola's product lines.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience as an Electronics/Field Technician.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain necessary security clearance.
• Experience with LMR, RF Systems, Radio Communications, or related fields.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely.
• Clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Motorola equipment.
• Experience in Public Safety, Engineering, Networking Equipment, or IP Networking.
• Military experience.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment in a timely manner.
• Provide customer training on Motorola Land Mobile Radio Products.
• Communicate concepts and recommendations to customers and within the organization.
• Assist in the design, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Motorola's product lines.
• Work with Motorola Infrastructure Technologies including Astro25 cores and MCC Console line.
• Provide experience with Customer Programming Software.
• Program Motorola Solutions' subscriber products.
• Utilize strong networking skills (LAN and WAN).
• Work with logging recording systems and RF interfaces.
• Use spectrum analyzers and RF troubleshooting techniques.
