About The Position
Join Learning Grove, a top-rated nonprofit early childhood education provider in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky. As an On-Site Substitute Teacher, you'll support classroom learning, meal times, and naps—helping maintain a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment when regular staff are out.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience with young children and effective classroom management
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to equity and confidentiality
- Must meet physical requirements, accommodations available
Nice To Haves
- CDA or progress toward an ECE degree preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom routines (activities, meals, nap time, teacher breaks)
- Apply child-centered, Constructivist learning strategies
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
- Collaborate with staff and communicate positively with families
