About The Position

Xerox Holdings Corporation is seeking an Onsite Service Technician (Production) for the 2nd Shift in Chesapeake, VA. This position is part of the Technical Services division, which is rapidly growing. The technician will be responsible for providing outstanding service to clients, managing call resolutions in accordance with customer SLA agreements, and optimizing customer satisfaction. The role involves leveraging senior-level experience and specialized training in electromechanical equipment to perform repairs and maintenance on large-scale production equipment. The technician will also be the primary customer contact, ensuring customer satisfaction and managing maintenance, production, and supply inventories of assigned equipment.

Requirements

• Senior Electro-mechanical experience including using a multi-meter to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
• Ability to read and comprehend electrical schematics to properly troubleshoot systems.
• Experience in roles such as HVAC/Cable Internet technician, Electrician, Automotive Mechanic, Repair, or Military/Veteran.
• Superior time management skills and reliability.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and perform physical activities such as walking, standing, squatting, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Offer outstanding service to clients and manage call resolutions in accordance with customer SLA agreements.
• Leverage senior-level experience and specialized training in electromechanical equipment to perform repairs and maintenance on large-scale production equipment.
• Perform a full range of maintenance on assigned products, including technical diagnostics, software loads, installation, removal, retrofit, and utilization of remote resolution software.
• Take responsibility for customer satisfaction by serving as the primary customer contact.
• Provide assistance and guidance to other team members regarding policies, procedures, and overall equipment repair best practices.
