About The Position

Responsible for managing relationships and providing value-added services to the embedded organization and ensuring that the established service agreements are fulfilled. This role involves direct interaction with customers, including upper management, and a proactive approach to sales and inventory management. An ambassador of the company and a trusted face to our customers, while adhering to company values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven work experience as a sales representative or account manager within industrial supply
  • Highly self-motivated and target-driven
  • Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills
  • Relationship management skills
  • Ability to adapt and deliver based on customer requirements.
  • Ability to drive a personal vehicle with insurance per company policy to visit customer sites
  • Must maintain a company insurable driving record
  • Must be able to efficiently use a computer equipped with a standard keyboard and mouse
  • Ability to communicate in English to locate, read, and report information
  • Lift, lower, and carry product up to 50 lbs. and regularly sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and crouch

Responsibilities

  • Building and managing relationships with various customer contacts, including upper management
  • Working with the embedded organization using independent judgment on inventory requirements
  • Receiving, packing, stocking, and maintaining customer products
  • Quoting and sourcing inventory based on customer demand
  • Developing and maintaining continuous improvement and cost-saving programs
  • Maintain and grow existing customer base through consultative sales
  • Other duties assigned by the Sales Manager to ensure business success
