About The Position

Labor Rocket is expanding and looking for a full-time Onsite Manufacturing Recruiter. This position will sit at our client's manufacturing facility in Auburn Hills, MI. The role involves managing the full-cycle recruiting process, handling a requisition load of 20 to 30 openings, and focusing on recruiting production-level employees. The recruiter will develop sourcing plans, utilize innovative sourcing techniques, leverage technology, cold call, establish talent networks, solicit referrals, and source candidates via databases and networking sites using Boolean searches. They will also organize and participate in job fairs, build strong partnerships with hiring managers, work with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to create job descriptions, manage applicant flow in the ATS, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, advocate for candidates, facilitate interviewing and hiring best practices, provide training and coaching, interview, participate in selection decisions, verify references, and prepare offers.

Requirements

  • Full life cycle recruiting experience
  • Knowledge of recruiting techniques and the ability to research new recruiting sources, as well as conduct complex Boolean searches for sourcing, is required
  • A proven track record of partnering with hiring managers, interviewers, and team members throughout the hiring process is required
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of recruiting work
  • Must be resourceful with strong influencing and communication skills
  • Must have strong skills in using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook is required
  • Strong Communication skills - Ability to express information in a manner appropriate to different levels of people clearly and effectively
  • Excellent Presentation skills - Ability to confidently deliver an engaging message to a group of people, which achieves the objectives

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full-cycle recruiting process to ensure a smooth recruiting process
  • Manage requisition load, which may range from 20 to 30 openings at a given time
  • Responsible for recruiting production-level employees
  • Responsible for developing sourcing plans to fill open positions and strategies to create a consistent source of “warm” candidates for certain positions
  • Utilize exceptionally innovative sourcing techniques and leverage technology to find active and passive candidates, cold calling, and establishing a network of talent and resources
  • Solicit and pursue referrals from business networks and/or internal referrals
  • Source candidates via resume databases and networking sites using Boolean searches and other innovative search tools
  • Initiate, organize, and participate in job fairs and events
  • Building and maintaining a strong partnership with hiring managers
  • Work with hiring managers and HR Business Partner to create job descriptions
  • Manage applicant flow within ATS; source, screen resumes/candidates, and coordinate interviews
  • Advocate for the candidate to ensure overall good communication; prepare candidates for interviews, providing logistical information, interview schedule, and other information as needed
  • Facilitate interviewing and hiring best practices, policies, and laws
  • Providing training and coaching on the recruiting and selection process
  • Interview and facilitate/participate in the selection decision process, verifying references, and preparing offers
