Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a print production setting.
  • Strong customer service skills in both phone and email communications.
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Experience operating, calibrating, and troubleshooting print equipment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks that involve walking, standing, reaching, or bending.

Nice To Haves

  • Five or more years of print production experience.
  • Experience with Fiery front end systems.
  • Familiarity with MarketDirect Storefront or other order management platforms.
  • Experience working with branded materials or style guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate digital print equipment with accuracy and consistency.
  • Review job tickets, confirm specifications, and ensure files are correctly prepared before production.
  • Inspect printed materials throughout the process to ensure high quality work that matches customer expectations.
  • Perform finishing tasks such as binding, folding, cutting, or assembling as needed.
  • Use Fiery workflows or similar tools to manage color, file processing, and production queues.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas that support efficient production.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers.
  • Answer questions, clarify job requirements, and communicate timelines clearly.
  • Provide timely updates and resolve issues with professionalism and care.
  • Support customers in understanding available services and best practices for preparing their print jobs.
  • Track and monitor incoming print requests using order management platforms.
  • Prioritize jobs to meet customer deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Maintain required reporting and production documentation.
  • Organize jobs by confirming job names, numbers, instructions, and necessary supplies.
  • Keep digital print equipment performing at its best.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as clearing jams, loading consumables, and running calibrations.
  • Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues.
  • Escalate service needs when repairs or advanced diagnostics are required.
  • Complete technical training for new equipment as assigned.
  • Represent the print center with a professional appearance and customer focused approach.
  • Take ownership of day to day operations and production outcomes.
  • Maintain inventory of supplies and parts and follow company processes for ordering.
  • Support a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the site.
