About The Position

This is an approximately 4-5 month contract role based onsite out of our Swedesboro, NJ production facility. Core Hours: 9am-5:30pm, Monday-Friday Position Summary: The Human Resources Representative will provide operational and administrative support to the Human Resources team, Operations team and hourly employees in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or additional relevant work experience is required.
  • 2-3 years of HR experience required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willing and able to flex hours as needed for business.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, project-based environment
  • Ability to work onsite in an HR office environment
  • Ability to sit, stand, and use a computer for extended periods
  • High level of accuracy and compliance mindset
  • Comfort operating in a tactical, execution-focused HR role
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Flexibility and adaptability during periods of change and increased workload

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or distribution center environment is strongly preferred;
  • Experience with I-9 compliance and audit remediation- a plus if they have supported HR audits or compliance driven projects
  • Experience with HR digitalization or document management initiatives
  • Experienced with HRIS systems (preferably UKG) and data transactions and reporting as well as time and attendance systems
  • Experienced with conducting new hire orientations
  • Experienced with completing bi-weekly payroll processes
  • Experienced with serving as a frontline HR contact for employees

Responsibilities

  • I-9 audit project
  • Support engagement survey project
  • Support HR digitalization projects - training employees, transitioning paper personnel files to digital
  • Support HRIS transactions - hire, term, payroll, time and attendance
  • Staffing, orientation and onboarding support
  • Support associate relations in the HR office
  • Issuance of employee badges
  • Provide day-to-day support to the HR team
  • Other projects as assigned

Benefits

  • We offer a competitive rate of $30.00/hr commensurate with experience and qualifications.
