The Vail Gondola Club is located steps away from Gondola One in Vail Village. Managed by the Cordillera Property Owners Association, the Vail Gondola Club is an exclusive Ski Club providing first-class service in a comfortable and inviting environment. The Cordillera Property Owners Association’s (CPOA) is a private homeowners association serving the needs and interests of Cordillera property owners. The CPOA owns and manages the following amenities for the private enjoyment of homeowners: The Athletic Center of Cordillera: A 16,000 square foot, completely renovated and expanded athletic center, with indoor pool, expansive cardio, weight room and class space, outdoor spa and patio. The Short Course: An executive par 3 golf course on The Divide. The Cordillera Post Office: For convenient receipt and processing of mail and packages, open Monday-Friday 8:30am-4:30pm. The Trailhead Clubhouse: A community gathering space for social events, outdoor pools and playgrounds open in the summer. The Cordillera Vail Gondola Club: A member’s only ski club located a stone’s throw from Gondola One in Vail. The Cordillera Private Fishing Parcel: Cordillera living includes access to 1.3 miles of private fly fishing on the Eagle River. Six “beats” (lengths of river) are available by reservation, providing a fishing experience of unparalleled quality—and unique to the Vail Valley.

Requirements

  • No Experience needed, will be trained

  • Must be able to follow directions and meet deadlines
  • Flexible schedule preferred
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Ability to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, or reach frequently.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull objects up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier with assistance.
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and machinery safely.
  • Visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, and perform detailed tasks.
  • Hearing ability to detect alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in noisy environments.
  • Ability to work in varying environmental conditions (heat, cold, dust, noise, outdoors).
  • Ability to wear and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Ability to work varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, on-call, and overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting in servicing homeowners, efficiency of cart loading, cart cleanliness, staging, and storing.
  • Ability / Willingness to learn new tasks and operate different types of equipment as required
  • This position will meet and greet all members and their guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner in accordance with all facility policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for the daily operations of range ball recovery (chipping and pitching range only), utilizing both mechanical and hand machinery and equipment.
  • Responsible for the collection, organization, and cleanliness of all range baskets used for ball transportation according to policies and procedures established by management.
  • Help keep all working areas attractive, neat, and clean, free of trash and waste.
  • Responsible for washing the range balls to maintain their cleanliness and usability.
  • Follow procedures for proper opening and closing of the cart and range operations.
  • Keep the outside area uncontested, neat, and clean.
  • Do not allow carts to clog the passage area; arrange them neatly after having been used.
  • Inspect the condition of golf carts with specific attention to their cleanliness and appearance.
  • Responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart condition, and fueling.
  • As well as the rotation of golf carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet.
  • Assist golf shop personnel in the setup of golf carts and range operations.
  • Refer all major problems/complaints to a manager and/or assistant manager.
  • Follow procedures in the management of the cart.
  • Maintain order and continuity of player traffic.
  • Tracking and reporting the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations of their given areas.
  • Perform other duties as required.
