The Onshore Project Engineer will provide overall project coordination and engineering oversight on assigned projects. This role involves evaluating the desired goal of the system and developing, designing, or selecting the required equipment, power controls, piping, structures, and earthwork to achieve the goal. The engineer will participate in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects. Additionally, the engineer is responsible for ensuring compliance with the Arion Quality Management System, monitoring QA/QC of the project, and coordinating with others as needed to resolve any design or process issues. The engineer will identify risks and areas of concern regarding the progress of the assigned project, recommend corrective actions wherever required, and execute when directed by the client. The role also includes directing activities to ensure that construction, installation, and operational testing conform to functional specifications, recognized codes and standards, and customer requirements. Effective communication with project team members and the customer is essential, and the engineer will take a leadership role in regular internal project meetings to collect and disseminate information pertaining to the project. The engineer may also direct and coordinate the operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment and systems in field installations, and may use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform engineering tasks. The engineer will work under general supervision, with work reviewed for adequacy and accuracy.
