About The Position

Global LT is seeking an Online Zulu Language Teacher to provide customized online lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. Global LT has been a leader in language and culture training, translation, and interpretation services since 1979, with 40 years of experience in the educational field. The company's primary clients are employees of well-known companies who have relocated globally and need to learn the local language. Due to increased demand for advanced language tutoring, Global LT is expanding its network of qualified teachers. This role offers an active and independent teaching position, with access to a teachers' platform to accept classes that match individual schedules and preferences. Teachers have complete control over their agenda, with no minimum weekly or monthly hours required. The position allows for the creation of personalized lesson plans and choice of teaching materials, offering the autonomy of freelance work while contributing to a meaningful mission of making language learning accessible and successful worldwide.

Requirements

Native or near-native proficiency in the target language, both written and spoken.
A degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or a related field.
At least two years of Zulu language teaching experience

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging, tailored lessons that inspire and motivate students.
Design and implement customized curricula in alignment with learners' proficiency levels and objectives.
Track and assess student progress, guiding them to help them achieve their learning goals.
Communicate professionally and effectively with students, ensuring a positive learning environment.
