About The Position

The Online Member Representative's primary responsibility is to open online membership applications. This position safeguards the credit against optional online fraud requests. This position should retain a working knowledge of all available products and services of the credit union. The Online Member Representative will also be responsible for opening special/sub-accounts as requested by members. The position requires exercising independent judgment while determining the products or services that will help our members become more financially successful.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of financial services experience or equivalent experience in roles that require superior customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Previous PC experience in Microsoft Office products; Episys experience, preferred.
  • Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
  • Math aptitude and keyboarding skills.
  • Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable.
  • Work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
  • Maintaining a high level of professionalism while working under pressure.
  • Maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
  • Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
  • Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

Nice To Haves

  • Financial or lending experience, preferred.
  • Previous PC experience in Microsoft Office products; Episys experience, preferred.
