About The Position

The Online Member Representative's primary responsibility is to open online membership applications. This position safeguards the credit against optional online fraud requests. This position should retain a working knowledge of all available products and services of the credit union. The Online Member Representative will also be responsible for opening special/sub-accounts as requested by members. The position requires exercising independent judgment while determining the products or services that will help our members become more financially successful.

Requirements

Availability to work 40 hours per week Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm at our Burnsville Branch location; non-exempt.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of financial services experience or equivalent experience in roles that require superior customer service skills and strong attention to detail.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills, including excellent telephone communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Previous PC experience in Microsoft Office products; Episys experience, preferred.
Ability to maintain complete confidentiality.
Math aptitude and keyboarding skills.
Ability to work as a team player being flexible and dependable.
Work independently while displaying initiative and decision-making skills.
Maintaining a high level of professionalism while working under pressure.
Maintain compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and all its provisions.
Ability to pass all pre-employment drug test and various background checks.
Responsible for regular and reliable attendance at the workplace.

Nice To Haves

Financial or lending experience, preferred.
Previous PC experience in Microsoft Office products; Episys experience, preferred.
