The Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, working as an In-Store Grocery Shopper, is responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner with attention to freshness and quality. This role involves assembling customers' online orders, processing coupons and payments, and delivering and loading orders into cars when customers arrive at the store for pick-up. The position requires providing a positive customer service experience that encourages customers to return to online shopping, while demonstrating the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
Initiate and complete the selection process for customers' online orders.
Assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders to cars upon customer arrival.
Scan and bag orders while adhering to bagging standards.
Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
Meet or exceed customer expectations for ease of shopping, variety, freshness, and cleanliness.
Adhere to local, state, and federal laws, food safety procedures, and company guidelines.
Receive customers' orders from Order Selector and store products in optimal temperature zones.
Read and follow directions given in the note section.
Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
Communicate with customers via a portable phone and respond to calls professionally and timely.
Retrieve each customer's order from all staging locations and ensure order accuracy.
Load orders into customers' cars.
Provide a positive customer service experience.
Process orders through the point of sale (POS) system.
Follow policies and procedures for appropriate substitutions in case of out-of-stock items.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
Report discrepancies in pricing, scanning, and item locations to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
Inspect equipment and notify management of items needing repair.
Perform required opening and closing procedures.
Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
Meet or exceed productivity standards.
Work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
Manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner.
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
Follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve issues.
Provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Ability to work without supervision.
Ability to read shelf tags.
Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Experience as a personal shopper.
Experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
Experience stocking shelves.
Experience as a cashier.
