About The Position
As an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk at Gerbes, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their online orders in a timely and efficient manner. Your primary responsibility will be to select and gather products for customers' online orders, paying close attention to the freshness and quality of the items. You will assemble these orders, process any applicable coupons and payments, and deliver the completed orders to customers' vehicles when they arrive for pick-up. This position requires a strong commitment to providing a positive customer service experience, which is essential in encouraging customers to return for future online shopping. In this role, you will be part of a dedicated e-commerce team that works collaboratively to meet and exceed customer expectations. You will initiate and complete the selection process for online orders, ensuring that all items are accurately picked and prepared for delivery. Communication is key, as you will need to inform customers about any substitutions or exceptions to their orders at the time of pick-up. You will also be responsible for scanning and bagging orders while adhering to the company's bagging standards.
