Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk

About the position

As an Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, you will be responsible for selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders in the most efficient manner, ensuring attention to freshness and quality. You will assemble customers' online orders, process coupons and payments, and deliver and load orders into cars when customers arrive at the store for pick-up. Your role will also involve providing a positive customer service experience that encourages customers to return to online shopping. You will demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently.
• Assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payments.
• Deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon arrival.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at pick-up.
• Ensure quality and freshness of all items chosen.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Inspect equipment and report items in need of repair.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet/exceed productivity standards.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (i.e., counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral/written communication skills.

• Experience as a personal shopper.
• Experience in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.
