About The Position

The In-Store Grocery Shopper, also known as the Online Grocery Pick-Up Clerk, is responsible for efficiently selecting and gathering products for customers' online orders while ensuring freshness and quality. This role involves assembling orders, processing payments, and providing a positive customer service experience to encourage repeat online shopping. The position requires adherence to food safety procedures and company guidelines, as well as effective communication with customers and team members.

Requirements

• Ability to work without supervision.
• Ability to read shelf tags.
• Basic math skills (counting, addition, and subtraction).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a personal shopper or in a production-oriented or warehouse environment.
• Experience stocking shelves or as a cashier.

Responsibilities

• Select and gather products for customers' online orders efficiently with attention to freshness and quality.
• Assemble customers' online orders and process coupons and payments.
• Deliver and load orders into customers' cars upon their arrival for pick-up.
• Communicate any substitutions or exceptions to customers' orders at the time of pick-up.
• Scan and bag orders while following all bagging standards.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of staging areas and equipment.
• Report pricing, scanning, and item location discrepancies to the store e-Commerce supervisor.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of items in need of repair.
• Assist in training new e-Commerce team members.
• Meet or exceed productivity standards.
