About The Position

The Online Doctoral Dissertation Mentor for the Applied Apologetics Ph.D. program at Liberty University is responsible for guiding students through the dissertation research and writing phases. This role is crucial in ensuring that students produce high-quality, original scholarship that meets the university's academic standards. The mentor is expected to embody the values of Liberty University and engage in personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview.

Requirements

  • Hold a terminal degree (Ph.D. or Th.D.) in relevant fields such as Theology, Practical Theology, Biblical Theology, Systematic Theology, Philosophy, Apologetics, Ethics, or related areas.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Creative, innovative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Canvas.
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to complete assignments timely and accurately with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated strengths in teaching and mentoring at the college level.
