  • Greet customers with a warm and friendly attitude, assist them in locating products, and answer any inquiries they may have about our store's offerings.
  • Using a computerized sales system, efficiently process cash, credit, debit, and other forms of payment accurately and securely.
  • Operate the cash register and scanning system effectively, ensuring timely and accurate checkout of products.
  • Develop a basic understanding of the store's inventory to assist customers in finding the right products and upselling relevant items at the checkout counter.
  • Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with store policies, ensuring customer satisfaction while adhering to guidelines.
  • Search store and vendor inventory visually and with computer systems to locate products as needed.
  • Conduct price checks when necessary to resolve discrepancies and ensure pricing accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, including the counter, registers, and surrounding space.
  • Collaborate with other employees, such as sales associates and managers, to address customer concerns and enhance overall store performance.
  • Comply with all store policies, including security measures, dress code, and safety regulations.
  • High school diploma preferred, but not required.
  • Positive attitude combined with a strong desire to serve others.
  • Previous cashier or retail experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and cash handling skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Friendly, patient, and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
