About The Position

The OneStream Financial Systems Analyst plays a critical role in enabling accurate, efficient, and scalable financial consolidation, reporting, and planning for a global Asset Management company. This role supports a company culture that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation in financial processes. Working in a dynamic, international environment, the Analyst will partner closely with all Finance functions (consolidation, accounting, FP&A, tax, treasury) and IT teams across the organization to ensure high-quality financial data and a seamless close process. The Analyst is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the OneStream platform, driving process transformation, and contributing to the company’s broader digital finance strategy. This includes optimizing financial systems, implementing new capabilities, and leveraging emerging technologies—such as Artificial Intelligence—to modernize reporting and support enterprise performance management. This is a hybrid position located in Boston, MA and requires employees to be in the office three days a week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field OR equivalent professional experience combined with OneStream certification(s).
  • 3+ years with OneStream or Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) Oracle; hands-on experience with close/consolidation, FP&A processes, and management reporting; exposure to system upgrades, release cycles, and UAT.
  • Strong OneStream configuration skills (Dimensions, Cube Views, Dashboards, BRs, Workflow); familiarity with SQL, data integration, and metadata management; experience with AWS environments, S3, or similar cloud hosting a plus; experience with .NET and/or VB for scripting and automation.
  • Analytical problem-solving and structured troubleshooting; stakeholder management, communication, and ability to translate finance needs into system solutions; organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • OneStream MarketPlace experience (e.g., Textual Loader, Application Control Manager, Account Reconciliations).
  • Knowledge of IFRS consolidation, intercompany eliminations, FX translation, and audit controls; experience in Asset Management is a strong plus.
  • Experience with database platforms like AWS Aurora.

Responsibilities

  • System Administration & Support: Administer OneStream security, user provisioning, workflows, and application controls; monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and drive root-cause resolution; coordinate with vendors/partners on incidents and enhancements.
  • Financial Consolidation & Reporting: Support finance teams with monthly/quarterly/annual close cycles within OneStream; Assist in validating results and reconciliations; build and maintain Cube Views, Dashboards, and Reports for FP&A and Accounting; ensure accuracy and completeness of data loads from source systems.
  • Enhancements, AI & Development: Translate business requirements into OneStream solutions (BRs, workflows, forms); design and implement process improvements, automations, including the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence and machine-learning–enabled insights where applicable; Deploy and maintain OneStream MarketPlace solutions; participate in upgrades, regression testing, and release management.
  • Integration & Data Management: Maintain and optimize integrations with data platforms (e.g., AWS Aurora); implement and monitor data quality checks, mapping rules, and metadata governance; partner with IT on AWS-hosted environments for performance and reliability.
  • Training, Documentation & Governance: Create user guides, SOPs, and knowledge articles; deliver training sessions; support audit requests and controls testing; maintain change-management documentation; champion best practices for data stewardship and financial systems governance.
  • Global Collaboration: Work closely with teams across the organization to align financial processes, share best practices, and support standardized global reporting; Participate in cross-border projects involving consolidation, planning, and system enhancements.
