About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing One Year Old Teacher to join our growing preschool team located in Temple Terrace, FL. This part-time position requires individuals who are loving, patient, reliable, and organized. As a teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for our preschool children, ensuring their emotional and educational needs are met. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a commitment to fostering their development through creative and educational activities. In this role, you will develop a careful and creative program suitable for preschool children, employing a variety of educational techniques such as storytelling, educational play, and media to teach them. You will observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem, encouraging them to interact with each other and resolve occasional arguments. Additionally, you will guide children in developing their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum that includes identifying shapes, numbers, colors, and engaging in crafts. You will also be responsible for organizing nap and snack hours, supervising children to ensure their safety at all times, tracking their progress, and communicating regularly with parents to understand their children's backgrounds and psyches. Collaboration with other educators is essential to maintain a clean and tidy classroom that adheres to health and safety standards. This position is expected to work from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with no weekend shifts required.
