About The Position

Full-time one-to-one paraprofessionals to help special needs students with academic, social and self-help skills during the school day.

Requirements

• Associate degree from an accredited college or university, OR
• 48 credits from an accredited college or university, OR
• Passing score on the ParaPro Praxis exam (minimum score 456).
• Previous experience working with elementary children preferred.
• Ability to take direction and work cooperatively with other educational professionals.

Responsibilities

• Assist special needs students with academic skills.
• Support students in developing social skills.
• Help students with self-help skills during the school day.
