Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required (preferably in education, psychology, counseling, or a related field).
- Illinois State Certification, Type 39 (or the willingness to obtain within 90 days).
- Experience working with students with Emotional Disabilities and/or Autism (preferred).
- Strong commitment to empowering students and families.
- Flexibility and a passion for innovative approaches to education.

Responsibilities
- Supporting Instruction: Assist with lesson plans under the guidance of the Special Education teacher, adjusting strategies to meet the student's needs.
- Promoting Engagement: Help create a positive, engaging, and self-motivating classroom environment that encourages social interaction.
- Tracking Progress: Monitor and maintain records to support students' IEPs, ensuring accurate documentation.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the teaching team, clinicians, and administrators to support students' academic and emotional progress.
