About The Position

The One Stop Shop Installer at JM Family Enterprises is responsible for installing accessories on Toyota vehicles at the Vehicle Processing Center. This role requires mechanical skills, attention to quality and efficiency, and the ability to follow detailed installation procedures. The installer will work as part of a team and may assist in other departments as needed.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
• Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles preferred.
• Previous automotive installation or mechanical experience preferred.
• Understanding of basic automotive electrical wiring and installation of accessories.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and twist, with the capacity to lift 50-75 lbs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with teammates and management.
• Demonstrated flexibility to work overtime and alternate assignments as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Experience utilizing the 'Train Me' site and Atlas Copco torque control system preferred.
• Excellent work and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Install accessories on Toyota vehicles according to specified torque values and electrical routing requirements.
• Cross-train and assist in other departments as needed to support overall operations.
• Utilize tools such as torque wrenches and safety equipment during installations.
• Read and comprehend detailed installation instructions in English to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform installations for both Toyota and Lexus vehicles as required.
• Work at different Vehicle Processing Centers based on workload demands.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping and organizational skills in alignment with the 5S initiative.
• Safely operate motor vehicles, including maneuvering up and down ramps.
