About The Position

Mr. Handyman is seeking experienced One-Day Bath Installers to partner with us as independent subcontractors for bathroom remodeling projects. This role focuses primarily on tub-to-shower conversions and one-day bath installations, delivering high-quality workmanship and an exceptional customer experience. We provide a steady pipeline of work, clear scopes, and professional support — you focus on installing great bathrooms.

Requirements

3+ years of bathroom remodeling experience, specifically one-day bath or similar systems
Proven experience with:
Plumbing fixture installation
Wall systems, trim, and waterproofing
Own tools required to complete bath installations
Reliable truck or van capable of hauling materials
Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Professional appearance and customer-first mindset
Must operate as a 1099 independent contractor
Valid business license (where required)
General liability insurance
Workers’ compensation (or exemption, if applicable)
Ability to pass background check

Responsibilities

Complete one-day bath installations, including:
Tub-to-shower conversions
Shower and tub surrounds
Acrylic wall systems and shower bases
Perform demolition, installation, and finish work according to scope
Ensure all work meets local building codes, manufacturer specs, and Mr. Handyman quality standards
Maintain a clean, safe, and professional jobsite
Communicate clearly with homeowners and project managers
Complete jobs on schedule with minimal callbacks
Protect customer property and respect occupied homes
