About the position

Deciphera is seeking an experienced Oncology sales specialist to represent QINLOCK (ripretinib) and Romvimza (vimseltinib). The Territory Manager will build and execute strategic territory plans to educate customers about these treatments. This role is critical for the success of Deciphera’s current in-line business and second commercial launch.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate clinical profiles and pivotal trial data of ripretinib and vimseltinib to key customers.
  • Develop and execute territory business plans to address customer needs.
  • Partner with cross-functional commercial teams to provide comprehensive solutions.
  • Become a subject matter expert on GIST and TGCT disease states, product expertise, and market dynamics.
  • Develop specific account/prescriber action plans using analytics.
  • Continuously evaluate plans and pivot as necessary to address evolving business dynamics.
  • Collaborate effectively with field and home office teams.
  • Contribute to the creation of resources, tools, and processes for field success.
  • Meet and exceed business objectives through thoughtful planning and collaboration.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in business, life sciences, or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.
  • Eight or more years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries, including at least four years in oncology and/or rare disease sales.
  • Oncology launch experience and competitive market experience required.
  • Rare/orphan market experience strongly preferred.
  • Existing relationships with key customers highly valued.
  • Track record of performance and passion for making a difference for patients.
  • Ability to understand all facets of the sales cycle.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
  • High ethical standards and patient-focused approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.
