About The Position

AdventHealth Palm Coast is seeking a dedicated and mission-driven Advanced Practice Provider (APRN/PA-C) to join our growing Surgical Oncology team within the Digestive Health Institute. This is a unique opportunity to practice at the top of your license in a highly collaborative, patient-centered, and innovative environment-serving patients with complex cancer diagnoses in a new state-of-the-art Cancer Center on Florida's beautiful northeast coast. This position will replace a valued APP transitioning specialties, ensuring continuity of care for our patients while offering the incoming provider strong mentorship, a cohesive team culture, and career development support.

Requirements

• Background in Surgery or Critical Care with experience in cancer patient care
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently after training with strong clinical judgment
• Compassionate and mission-aligned with a motivation to improve outcomes for oncology patients

Nice To Haves

• Experience with OR and robotic (DaVinci) surgery
• Experience in cancer surgery and post-operative management
• Proficiency in EHR/Computer systems
• Bilingual or second language skills

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for oncology patients
• Manage wound care and oncology navigation
• Participate in a team-based care model with surgeons and clinical staff
• Engage in a balanced schedule of clinic days and administrative time
• Share acute call responsibilities with a 1:4 rotation
