About The Position

The Oncology Solutions Account Director (OSAD) is a Customer-Facing colleague and integrated cross-functionally into the KAD Region they support. The individual in this role will work across a broad, multi-disciplinary group of regional account and HQ stakeholders to develop patient-driven scalable solutions, identify, develop and support advanced customer engagements across the Oncology portfolio, and develop, pilot and scale advanced KAD capabilities that enhance customer impact within each Region and Key Accounts they support. The majority of the OSAD’s time will be working directly with customers, KADs, cKADs, OMO, and Commercial Dx teammates to develop deep customer insights to: · Advance simple, efficient, & effective execution of population health solutions · Drive scalability and acceleration of similar engagements at other accounts (across their region and their team into other regions) · Collate and share Regional insights with other OSADs and Brand teams to evolve brand & disease state approaches Specifically, the OSAD in Oncology uniquely must also help take on account management commitments across an Oncology portfolio of unprecedented size that now span more than 15 products and more than 8 therapeutic areas, requiring a division in scope. While Oncology KADs retain their role as primary relationship managers of key Oncology accounts for the full portfolio, communicators on oral contracts, and owners of GU cancer (aPC – CSPC, Bladder) and hematology (multiple myeloma); the OSAD role will be focused in several areas: · Take primary Regional accountability to lead Lung Cancer and Precision Medicine (mCRPC, mCRC) opportunities with Key Accounts · Support KADs with Advanced Capabilities across the portfolio but primarily aimed at most critical KAD priorities (currently Bladder and MM) · Lead Advanced Customer Engagements in Key Accounts within Region that require additional HQ and/or intake support committee support · Identify replicable solutions and account best practices to be incorporated into future solutions resources · Master market landscape trends and customer quality measures to bring Regional expertise to appropriately align brand strategies with Account priorities in a customer centric way · Work with legal and appropriate RC to develop, support and lead advanced account solutions across the portfolio · Partner with National OSAD, OCRC and Account Marketing to identify, develop, pilot and scale advanced capabilities that elevate OAG impact in Key Accounts and with identified National Accounts · Mastering SDoH and health equity space to develop SOC adoption/guideline concordant care opportunities at accounts Internal stakeholder collaboration includes, but is not limited to Account Marketing, Advocacy and Prof Relations team, Brand Marketing, HIT Colleagues, KAD leadership, KAD Enablement, Legal, Compliance, Medical, Procurement, and Digital.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree
  • 8+ years industry experience
  • 2+ years Key Account Management experience
  • Core capabilities to advance initiatives with sizable accounts to improve patient identification with biomarkers, to improve therapy management and impact duration, and innovate based on unique account-specific opportunities
  • Proactive self-starter who has the initiative to function autonomously and the confidence and ingenuity to initiate, create and innovate

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate and optimize oncology provider engagement via account-based solutions engagement to drive incremental value for the customer, Pfizer, and the patient
  • Work with the Account Collaboration Team (ACT) and organized oncology providers to provide patient driven solutions that support mutually aligned goals for the customer and Pfizer – with a focus on duration of therapy, precision medicine and health equity
  • Work with the ACT and the customer in developing an optimal plan for effectively implementing, communicating and improving patient care that is aligned to appropriate goals and KPIs and customers capabilities
  • Ensure progress toward customer goals is monitored and plans are adjusted accordingly to ensure impact is established and sustained
  • Core insight generation for the Region that informs strategy and optimizes execution and customer engagement
  • Identify effective relevant patient management strategies being implemented by Key Accounts that could be spotlighted & replicated at other accounts
  • Partner with National OSAD, Account marketing, RC and 3rd party partners to deliver advanced solutions and capabilities aligned to brand strategy and customer need
  • Sharing of best practices across the region on the use of Brand and account management resources that appropriately advances and accelerates customer initiatives
  • Act as the voice of the customer and advisory team accountable to the Lung, CRC, and mCRPC
  • Demonstrate Subject Matter Expertise – specifically for: DOT expertise with specific focus on Lung Precision Medicine expertise Health Equity and Market landscape expertise
  • Critical Account Management (project management + change management)
  • Customer organizational governance/decision making/capabilities/stakeholder management
  • Internal HQ expertise including: Managing 3rd party collaborations Supporting and leading RC approvals when needed in collaboration with portfolio and brand marketing Gaining alignment from internal stakeholders and influencing cross functional partners when appropriate Navigating internal HQ processes including RC, Intake and HIT COE
