Except to deliver care to 4-6 patients per shift Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs, and chart with timely documentation Collaborate with a variety of other healthcare professionals such as social work, care coordination, physical therapy, occupational therapy, lab, respiratory therapy and imaging to care for cancer patients. Specialty: Liquid and solid tumors, hematology floor, with multiple b lood transfusions in one shift, chemotherapy, good IV skills, good clinical judgement and assessment skills for recognizing oncologic emergencies, oncology trained nurses, 30% oncology certified nurses (OCN) - oncology specialty, minor spinal surgery overflow (laminectomies) Other - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) trained for biochemotherapy infusions, RN IIIs & RN IVs engaged in shared governance serving in multiple hospital-based practice councils
