About The Position

Seeking Registered Nurse! Baptist Health Floyd, Oncology Unit PRN (As Needed), Days (7am-7pm) Job Duties: In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. About the Unit: The Oncology Unit, also known as 2A, is a 10-bed unit that provides care to Chemotherapy/Cancer Support/Hospice/Telemetry/Post-Op patients. Nurses have the opportunity to build their skill set in a med/surg atmosphere while also developing specialty skills related to chemotherapy and oncology care. New Graduate LPNs and RNs are welcome. Requirements

Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
Chemo Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
Minimum of one (1) year of previous nursing experience required to hold a PRN position.
