About The Position
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical-Surgical Unit at a leading acute care facility in Tallahassee, FL. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience required
- Current BLS certification (required)
- ACLS certification required within 6 months of hire
Nice To Haves
- Acute care experience preferred; LTAC experience considered
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive assessments and create individualized care plans
- Deliver and coordinate evidence-based nursing care
- Advocate for patient safety and well-being
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Educate patients and families about medications, treatment plans, and recovery expectations
- Respond independently and effectively in clinical situations
