About The Position

Healthcare facility located west of La Grande, OR is looking for full-time Oncology Pharmacist to join their team. Details are below. Pharmacist Opportunity: Oncology Pharmacist will facilitate the delivery of safe, effective, and pharmaceconomically rational medications to hematology/oncology patients. They will provide education, develop and implement guidelines, policies, and medication regimens, provide appropriate interventions, and be involved in professional development and performance improvement initiatives They will be responsible for supervising and directing support personnel in addition to the safe and proper distribution and use of medications in hematology/oncology patients. Oncology Pharmacist will sustain the hospital formulary, minimizing nonformulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic interchanges, and promoting rational drug therapy selection The Surrounding Environment: Growing population and diverse industrial/logistical base. Requirements

  • Current Pharmacist’s license issued by the Oregon State Board of Pharmacy.
  • Basic Life Support certification with expectation of Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within first year of hire

Nice To Haves

  • Board Certification in Oncology (BCOP) preferred.
