About The Position

Hartford HealthCare’s Pharmacy System has grown to include 8 inpatient pharmacies, 6 cancer center infusion pharmacies, 3 retail pharmacies, and our Ambulatory Care pharmacy department supporting more than 50 medical office practices. The Infusion Outpatient Pharmacist will work within the HHCI free standing oncology infusion center; overseeing the daily operations of the Compounded Sterile Products (CSP) area; assists in meeting regulatory compliance; and monitors training and competency assessment and quality assurance/control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Doctorate in Pharmacy ( Pharm.D.) strongly preferred
• Knowledge of Pharmacy quality, safety and environmental control requirements.
• Effective communication skills [verbal, written and listening]
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills with attention to details
• Good counseling skills with
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and colleagues

Nice To Haves

• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
