About The Position
Guides patients and their families through the complex world of Oncology treatment to ensure they receive accurate instruction and understanding leading to the most effective care and best outcomes. Advocates for patients to ensure their needs are met and their plan of care is understood. Coordinates care with internal and external health care resources to manage a patient’s care plan.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or Diploma Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing
- Hospital or clinic experience within last five years
- Current Kansas registered nurse (RN) license
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) or will obtain within the first year of hire
