About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Oncology Nurse Navigator RN to join a leading outpatient cancer care center. In this role, you will guide patients throughout their oncology treatment journey, ensuring coordinated care, clear communication, and a supportive patient experience. Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Oncology RN experience
• Hands-on experience with chemotherapy administration and monitoring
• Strong understanding of oncology care coordination
• Ability to balance both clinical and administrative responsibilities
• Associate Degree in Nursing (required)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) License – California
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required
• ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification – Required

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an Oncology Nurse Navigator or in a similar oncology-focused role
• Proficiency in IV therapy, infusions, and central line care
• Knowledge of oncologic emergencies (e.g., sepsis, tumor lysis syndrome)
• Experience with EPIC charting system preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage comprehensive oncology patient care plans
• Educate and guide patients through diagnosis, treatment, and recovery
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize outcomes
• Monitor patient progress and proactively address barriers to care
• Provide symptom management and ongoing patient support
• Maintain accurate documentation using EMR systems (EPIC)
• Assist in managing oncologic emergencies and treatment-related complications
